​​​Polling District and Place Review
The purpose of the Review is to ensure that, so far as is practicable in the circumstances a) all electors in the constituencies in the District have such reasonable facilities for voting and b) every polling place is accessible to electors who are disabled.
The Council welcomes representations from all residents in the District and in particular residents with disabilities, or any person or body with expertise in access for persons with disabilities.
The Notice to commence the Review is attached to the email. Please display the Notice on the Parish Noticeboards and feel free to publish it and the information in this email on the Parish website
The Council mapping portal where you can find the location of the current polling places and polling stations, together with the current polling district boundaries can be accessed here
The Returning Officer will consider all representations received and her proposals will be published on the council’s website on 25 November 2024

There will be an opportunity to make representations on the Retuning Officer’s proposals before the final proposals are considered at the meeting of Council on 16 January 2025.
